Carnegie Hall Trip 2017

Itinerary

Wednesday, April 12:

  • 5:00 AM – Depart PH
  • 2:00 PM – Arrive Park Central Hotel
  • 2:30 PM – Orientation, Room check in
  • 3:00 PM – Central Park/5th Ave Shopping in Chaperone Groups, Dinner on own
  • 9:30 PM – Nightly debrief meeting
  • 10:00 PM – In rooms
  • 10:30 PM – Lights out

Thursday, April 13:

  • 7:00 AM – Wake-up, breakfast
  • 8:00 AM – Leave for Lower Manhattan, ferry to Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island
  • 12:00 PM – Bus to Carroll Music for rehearsal. Lunch at Carroll Music
  • 1:00 PM – Rehearsal at Carroll Music
  • 3:00 PM – Rehearsal ends
  • 3:30 PM – Tour of Julliard/Lincoln Center.
  • 5:00 PM – Back to hotel, dress for musical. Dinner on own
  • 6:20 PM – Walk to Minskoff Theatre for Lion King
  • 7:00 PM – Lion King
  • 10:00 PM – Walk back to hotel, in rooms
  • 10:30 PM – Lights out

Friday, April 14:

  • 8:00 AM – Wake-up, breakfast on own. St. Patrick’s Cathedral or Times Square
  • 11:30 PM – Lunch in group at hotel, change into uniforms
  • 12:30 PM – Rally in hotel lobby
  • 1:00 PM – Walk to Carnegie Hall
  • 2:30 PM – Performance
  • 3:45 PM – Drop instruments at hotel, pictures in Central Park.
  • 4:30 PM – Change at hotel, change. Dinner on own. Central Park, Fifth Ave
  • 9:30 PM – Nightly debrief meeting
  • 10:00 PM – In rooms
  • 10:30 PM – Lights out

Saturday, April 15:

  • 7:30 AM – Wake-up, breakfast together, explore NYC in Chaperone groups
  • 11:00 AM – Check out of hotel, lunch packed on bus
  • 12:00 PM – Bus to lower Manhattan for 9/11 memorial, Battery Park
  • 12:30 PM – 9/11 Memorial
  • 2:00 PM – Depart NYC
  • 11:00 PM – Arrive PHHS, students dismissed
